Fry the Moong Dal in a pan till they become aromatic. Rinse the roasted moong dal a couple of times in water. Add ¾ cup water and moong dal to a pressure cook and cook for 6 to 7 roasting rava.
Heat a pan and add rava and roast the rava till it becomes fragrant. Keep it aside.
Heat the same pan and add ghee. Add cumin seeds and sauté till they splutter. Then add 12 to 15 cashews sauté till the cashews turn a light golden.
Add 1 sprig curry leaves and ginger, black pepper stir and mix well.Pour 1.5 cups water and bring to boil.
Then add the roasted rava. Stir well, then add the cooked moong dal and mix well, season with salt serve rava pongal hot with Kitchen Treasures Mango Pickle or some fresh curd.
