Heat oil in pan. Add mustard and urad dal. When they crackle, tip in green chillies, ginger and curry leaves.
Add 1 and 1/2 litre of water. Season and bring to a boil. Add the broken wheat and mix well.
When water is almost reduced, remove from fire. Cover and keep aside for 5 to 7 minutes. Garnish with ghee.
