Peel off the skin of boiled sweet potatoes and cut them to rounds or pieces. Boil till it becomes soft and keep aside.
In a pan heat 1/2 cup of water and add the jaggery powder.
Once it melts, remove the dirts by filtering it. Again boil the syrup for 2 minutes. Add the boiled sweet potatoes and stir.
Finally add the dry ginger powder, cardamom, ghee and mix well. The sweet potato is ready now.
