Ingredients

  • Sweet Potatoes pressure cooked – 300 gms
  • Jaggery Powder 4 tb spoon
  • Green cardamom pods crushed 3 nos
  • Ghee (Clarified butter) 2 tea spoon
  • Dry ginger powder 1/2 tea spoon (Chukku powder)

Preparation

Step1

Peel off the skin of boiled sweet potatoes and cut them to rounds or pieces. Boil till it becomes soft and keep aside.

Step2

In a pan heat 1/2 cup of water and add the jaggery powder.
Once it melts, remove the dirts by filtering it. Again boil the syrup for 2 minutes. Add the boiled sweet potatoes and stir.

Step3

Finally add the dry ginger powder, cardamom, ghee and mix well. The sweet potato is ready now.
