Heat butter in a pan and sauté cumin and ginger-garlic paste.
Saute the chopped onion and stir till it becomes translucent.
Add the chopped green chilli. Mix in the tomato and sauté.
Add red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder and black pepper powder. Stir well till the mix is mushy.
Add the grated paneer and mix in well. Stir till the paneer is cooked and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
