Mix the fish with spice powders, rice flour, lime and salt.
Shallow fry the fish on medium high heat in a large pan till it’s crisp, adding more oil as needed. Do not overcrowd the pan. Keep the fried fish on a serving platter.
Heat some oil in the same pan and fry the garlic and dried red chillies first. Then add the onions and fry till they are almost crisp. Pour over the fried fish.
Serve it as a snack or with rice.
