Peel the bananas and wash them in water mixed with turmeric powder. Wipe them dry with a paper towel.
Slice the banana into thin slices and keep it aside. The thinner, the better. (If you have confidence in your cutting skills, you can slice the banana directly into the hot oil).
Heat oil in a pan and fry a few pieces at a time on a medium heat until the bubbles subside.
Spread the chips on a kitchen towel to cool. Store in an airtight container.
