Ingredients

  • Hard boiled eggs, peeled & quartered -6
  • Besan-1/2 cup
  • Kashmiri chilly powder – 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida- 1/8th tsp
  • Pinch of baking powder
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil for frying

Preparation

Step 1

Make a thick batter using besan, chilli powder, asafoetida, baking powder, salt and water.

Step 2

Dip the eggs gently into the batter with the help of a fork and coat it well.

Step 3

Deep fry in hot oil until golden.

Serve them hot with date & tamarind chutney or ketchup!
