Heat a pan with 3 teaspoons oil, fry the cashews and take them out. In the same pan pour 2 more teaspoons of oil and roast the broken wheat in medium flame till they become dark brown and gives out nice aroma.
Pour three cups of water and boil the broken wheat. Once they become soft and well-cooked add the Jaggery powder to it and keep stirring. Add the cardamom powder too. While stirring at intervals keep adding ghee in teaspoons. Once the stuff becomes thick and starts giving out ghee switch off the stove
Add the roasted cashews. The delicious Lapsi Sweet is ready to offer as Prasad.
