Step 1
Preheat oven to 180C.
Step 2
Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda ,sugar and salt into a 9 inch round cake tin.
Step 3
Whisk everything together till smooth and free of lumps.
Step 4
Bake for 45-50 minutes or till a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Step 5
Cool in the tin for 10 mins, then transfer it onto a cooling rack and cool completely.
