Heat a pan, add oil and fry the onions and garlic until it softens.
Mix the chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt together, add the paste to the chicken pieces and coat the pieces with the paste. Keep it for a while (20 mins). Add the pieces to the pan and fry until golden brown.
Add tomatoes, ginger, cumin and coriander into the pan. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 30 mins. (Stir occasionally, add a little amount of water if the mixture appears to dry).
Add the butter and lemon juice and cook it for a minute. Garnish it with Coriander Leaves. Serve it hot with Rice or Naan.
