Step1
Fry the Coconut in a pan with oil and when it turns to brown, remove it from the flame and keep it aside to cool down. When it cools, make it a paste. (Tenga Varutharachathu)

In a frying pan, add oil, fennel seeds, whole chilli, onion, cardamom, cinnamon powder,turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, shallots, coriander Powder, and pepper and stir well.
Step3
Add chicken and a little water to it. Cook it for a while (till the chicken is cooked). Add the fried coconut paste to it and Add salt for taste. Stir well and let it cook for a few minutes (till they become a thick gravy). Add curry leaves for taste. Serve it hot.
