Heat ghee in a pan. Roast raisins and broken cashew nuts. Then add poppy seeds or seasame seeds, stir well. Add grated coconut and stir until light brown color.
Add eggs, scramble it, add sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well and switch off the flame.
Mix flour with salt and hot water. Knead it well and make into dough like chappathi. Keep it aside for 30 mins. Divide it to 7 equal portions. Roll it out to papper thin pathiries of uniform size. Heat a pan and cook them lightly, Keep it aside.
Beat 5-6 eggs, sugar and cardamom powder in a vessel. Keep aside.
Take a non stick baking tray or sauce pan, spread ghee in it. Take one pathiri, dip it in milk and egg batter, Place this pathiri as first layer. Sprinkle filling on top of this pathiri. Take another pathiri dip it in milk and egg batter, place this pathiri as second layer. Sprinkle filling on top of this pathiri. Like this make all layers.
Pour the remaining egg batter on the top of the pathiri, so that it cover all the gaps on sides and make a thin layer on the top.
Cover the lid. Bake it over the stove top for 2-3 min on medium flame and 10-15 mins over the low flame.
After cooking of one side carefully separate it’s side by using a spatula and flip it to another pan. Bake it some more time. Now our tasty chatty pathiri is ready to serve. Serve hot. Enjoy!
