Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp – Oil
  • 1/4 tsp – Kitchen Treasures Mustard Seeds
  • 1 pinch – Asafoetida
  • 1/4 tsp – Kitchen Treasures Cumin Seeds
  • 1 pinch – Kitchen Treasures Turmeric Powder
  • 1 – Green Chilli
  • 3 – Tomatoes (Chopped)
  • 2 tbsp – Ginger (Minced)
  • 1 – Potato (Cubes)
  • 1 – Cauliflower (Chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp – Sugar
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

Step1

Add a pinch of turmeric Powder to warm water. Submerge the cauliflower .Let sit 5-10 minutes, remove and rinse. The turmeric water helps to kill the bugs in the vegetable.

 

Step2

Heat Oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, when they splutter add asafoetida, cumin, turmeric and green chilli.

 

Step3

Add tomatoes and ginger, stir for few minutes.

 

Step4

Add potato, cauliflower, sugar and salt. Stir well and cook until potatoes are cooked and cauliflower is crunchy. Serve it hot.
